The board is responsible for running everyday activities at the student union. The board is selected by the representatives every year in December and it operates one year from January to December.

The board is divided into two teams:

• Student Advocacy and Policy Team
• Community and Leisure Team

Board members have different areas of responsibility inside the teams:

• Education policy
• Social policy
• Well-being and leisure
• Communication

In addition to managing these areas of responsibility, the board represents the student union at national events and seminars. The board monitors developments in the higher education sector both within Lapland UAS and on a national level, while also informing, reporting, and expressing opinions.
